KIPPsters are persistent, resilient, creative and resourceful. We know that those assets uniquely position our KIPPsters to lead communities to solve hard problems. To support that, teachers seek opportunities for students to work together and collaborate to solve real problems through Project Based Learning, small group work and exhibition of their products to real-world audiences.
Exhibition nights at KIPP Adelante are an opportunity for students to demonstrate the culmination of their learning to family, community members and are open to the public. KIPP celebrates student work three times a year, through Winter, Spring and Summer Exhibitions. The process of building up to an exhibition involves critique and feedback cycles and revision of multiple drafts in the creation of student products and deliverables. The video below provides a taste of the exhibition experience.
